Dirac founded in 2001 is a Swedish based, research and software company, focusing on DRC, Digital Room Correction of audio in homes, cars, studios and for mobile devices.
Their algorithms solve frequency, phase and impulse problems in listening positions of a room, as well as handling early reflections from walls, roof and floor.
Their name is supposedly derived from the famous French/English mathematician Paul Dirac, perhaps hinting at the “Dirac delta function” for impulses?
